Kids at the Museum: Da Vinci school holiday workshops

Visit Pine Rivers Heritage Museum in the September school holidays and participate in a Kids at the Museum workshop.

Each Thursday we will investigate and learn about a remarkable invention by Leonardo Da Vinci. We'll get hands-on creating mini replica models. 

This Kids at the Museum workshop series is being held in conjunction with Da Vinci Machines: Inventions brought to life. The incredible exhibition is on display at  Bribie Island Seaside Museum, Pine Rivers Heritage Museum and Redcliffe Museum. Drop into North Lakes Library to view a replica flying machine by Leonardo da Vinci while the exhibition is on!

Thursday 25 September:  Da Vinci flying machines

Explore machines that get you off the ground, from catapults to wing gliders.

Thursday 2 October: Crack the Da Vinci code

Can you solve the museum riddle using a cipher? Create your own cipher disc to take home. 

Free. Select and book a session as below:

• 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM - this workshop is specifically for neurodivergent children and their parent/carer only*
• 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

* Please note that 1 x parent/carer is required to stay with participating children during the workshops. Book 1 x ticket per child, accompanying adults do not require a booking.

The museum is open Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
