Next date: Saturday, 24 October 2026 | 01:00 PM to 01:45 PM

Celebrate young artistic talent at the Moreton Bay Youth Art Awards ceremonies.

These special events recognise the creativity and achievements of primary and secondary-aged artists, bringing together young creatives, their families and the community.

Join us as we acknowledge this year’s participants and celebrate the diverse ideas, perspectives and creative achievements represented in the awards.

Awards and prizes

Individual

Prize money of $200 will be awarded to the best individual entry from each of the four year level groups, and in each of the two art categories. Place-getters will receive a trophy and certificate.

The collaborative section is open to schools in City of Moreton Bay who wish to enter collaborative works. A group of three or more students from the same group qualify to win a prize across three year levels. Prizes consist of a $1000 scholarship to be spent on art workshops for the winning school.

People's Choice Award

The People's Choice Award celebrates the artwork that captures the hearts of the community. Visitors will have the chance to vote for their favourite piece, and the entry with the most votes will receive a certificate, trophy and prize pack of art materials valued up to $100.
