Elements of art crash course with Mel Brady

Join artist Mel Brady at the Albany Creek Community Centre to celebrate the 30th City of Moreton Bay Youth Art Awards.

Enjoy a vibrant, hands-on exploration of the elements of art with Mel as she hosts a free workshop. It will incorporate art-making, movement, experimentation and play, to encourage creativity.

Mel will guide participants through a series of interactive stations. These are designed to spark creativity and curiosity in young artists. Learn about the basics of art, including lines, colours, shapes, textures and more.

Each participant will create a small artwork that will become part of a large collaborative piece celebrating the 30th anniversary of the awards.

There are two 90-minute sessions available, and bookings are essential. Don’t miss out!
