City of Moreton Bay Art Collection features some of Australia’s most beloved and acclaimed artists.
Inspired by The Tucker portraits exhibition, Influencers shares work from the City’s Art Collection by Australian artists who have significantly influenced Australian art history.
Spanning the early 20th century until now, the artworks vary in style and media, and all have a connection to Queensland. Featured in this exhibition are artists who have influenced the direction of the visual art community in this state; artists who have left only to return with new ideas and ways of creating; and artists who have represented Queensland on a global stage.
