Children looking at indigenous artefacts

Do you want to know how boomerangs are made?

Join Ezekiel Davis (Zeke) during the school holidays to learn about the origins and uses of Indigenous artefacts.

Zeke is a strong culture man and knowledge holder of these special objects. He will guide you through the touch, feel and smell of them.

Free - bookings required. All ages.

About the facilitator

Zeke is a proud Kabi Kabi man. He is a descendant of the Mooloolaba Chilly family, the people of the Mooloola and Meridan Plains.

He is also a prominent member of the Gubbi Gubbi Dance Troupe founded by his father Lyndon Davis. He has danced since he was a young child and learned his culture from his father and extended family.

He is now passing on that knowledge and visits schools and camps to educate kids on Kabi Kabi culture.

Caboolture Regional Art Gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
