Create a seasonal recipe book

Join artist Kaya Barry at the Caboolture Regional Art Gallery to create a seasonal community recipe book.

Learn about Kaya’s artwork as you share ideas, recipes and chat over morning tea. Continue the conversation as you craft pages for a recipe book about local food and produce in the Moreton Bay region, using stamps, supermarket catalogues and inks made from produce.

Bring along your favourite recipes to contribute and after the workshop, receive a Moreton Bay Seasonal Recipe Book to enjoy.

Free - bookings essential. For adults. Adults with young children also welcome - there will be craft activities for the children to do.

About the artist

Dr Kaya Barry is an artist and geographer. She is interested in how the weather, migration and mobility influence how people live in place and pay attention to their environment. Kaya is a Senior Lecturer at Griffith University and her artwork is currently on display in Yield at Caboolture Regional Art Gallery.
