Join a new local creative group at Caboolture Regional Art Gallery.

Art Teens is a safe and inclusive space for young adults to come together and explore different ways of making and creative pathways.

Each 4th Friday of the month we will have discussions unpacking the world of art, get hands on with making processes and have a chill afternoon of creativity.

Free - bookings essential. Ages 12-17. 

Tuesday 25 August | Beading 101

In this workshop we will discuss and play with all things beads. Whether you are a seasoned beader or just starting out, there is something to create for everyone.

Tuesday 22 September | Printmaking 101

Printmaking is a creative method that has many different processes to explore. Join us for a hands-on deep dive into the process and create your own artwork to take home.

Tuesday 27 October | Self portraits

What makes you, you? Creative expression is a way to explore the self. We will use polaroids, collage, paint and other materials to make an artwork that reflects yourself in this workshop. 

Tuesday 24 November | Your studio

For the last workshop of 2026, you will use the techniques and skills built over the last year to design, develop and create your own artwork. An array of materials will be available to work with, and you will have staff to support you to develop your creation.

Parent and guardian information

Art Teens is strictly for teens aged 12-17 years. You may be required to present an acceptable proof of age ID to enter the event. 

Caboolture Regional Art Gallery is closed to the general public during this event, with registered attendees in attendance only. 

This event is a parent/guardian free event. Gallery staff will be available to support attendees and supervise the event. If a parent, guardian or adult carer needs to accompany a teen for accessibility reasons, they are welcome to do so. 

If attendees wish to leave the event before 5:45 PM, they will need to check out by confirming their transportation plans with gallery staff.
