Join us for the official opening of Ocean Sentinels: Inspiring change through art, a compelling exhibition from the Museum of Underwater Art (MOUA).

This touring exhibition uses modern sculpture to help people learn about and care for our oceans.

Kerrie Everett Horrocks, Board Member of MOUA, will share exclusive insights into the museum’s goals and how the exhibition was created.

This display features 3D-printed replicas of eight Ocean Sentinel sculptures made from reclaimed ocean plastic. These striking works honour leading marine scientists and conservationists who work to protect our reefs and oceans.

The sculptures also explore ideas of decay, rebirth, and change, mirroring the dynamic life cycles of the Great Barrier Reef. They are designed to support natural marine growth and spark conversation about ocean health.

Free - bookings essentialLight refreshments provided.
