Be among the first to experience Journeys at its official opening. Discover powerful stories of connection, resilience, and belonging that reflect the diverse experiences of our community.

People come to the local area for many reasons. The chance to start afresh, to serve one’s country or to seek a new adventure.

Journeys exhibition explores the movements, connections and experiences that have shaped our region and tells people's stories. It could be why they came here, the journeys they took or what their new life was like.

Before there were roads, ferries and bridges, there were journeys shaped by Country, culture, and connection. The opening event will celebrate the exhibition and honour the First Nations peoples whose knowledge, movement and stories have connected this landscape for countless generations.

Bookings are required for this free event. It is suitable for ages 18+.

Bribie Island Seaside Museum is open from Wednesday to Friday, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, and Saturday to Sunday, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.
