Planting native species helps repair and improve degraded landscapes by restoring natural plant communities and ecosystems that have been lost. Revegetation is especially important for building wildlife movement corridors and connecting isolated patches of bushland. We can improve and increase habitat for priority and other species by using best practice revegetation and ecological restoration techniques.
The South East Queensland Ecological Restoration Framework provides a code of practice and technical guidelines for the delivery of vegetation and ecological restoration works in South East Queensland.
