Other government funding 

  • Arts Queensland (link opens in new window) 
    State government agency dedicated to supporting and growing Queensland's vibrant and innovative arts. Arts Queensland offers a number of funding programs including individual professional development grants, project grants, grants for public art and more
  • Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts (link opens in new window)
    Federal government department relating to the arts. Grants are available for festival initiatives and for touring of performing and visual arts
  • Australia Council (link opens in new window) 
    Australian Government's arts funding and advisory body. Grants offered through the Australia Council include community partnerships and artform specific projects

  • Gambling Community Benefit Fund (link opens in new window) 
    Provides one-off grants to Queensland based not-for-profit groups
  • Jupiters Casino Community Benefit Fund (link opens in new window)
    Administers grants to not-for-profit incorporated community organisations for projects which will be of benefit to the wider community

  • Aims to help Australian artists from any background, creating art and music across any genre, to establish themselves as self-sustained, professional artists
