Becoming a member is easy and FREE if you are a Moreton Bay region resident, a resident of an adjoining local government region (including Noosa) or if you work or study in the region.
How to join
Library staff will need to see identification including your name and current residential address. Photo ID such as a driver’s licence is preferable, but a Centrelink Concession Card, recent rates notice, utilities bill, bank statement or similar can be used instead; digital identification is also acceptable.
Join at any of our libraries; identification and proof of current address is required.
Children and young people under 18 require a parent/legal guardian who is a responsible library member to be present when joining the library; adult identification and proof of current address is required.
A responsible adult library member may join a child for whom they are not the parent or guardian. Please contact any of our libraries for details.
Organisations such as schools and nursing homes located in the Moreton Bay region may also join for free. The membership application will need to be signed by a person with appropriate authority who is taking responsibility for the membership.
Visitors and non-permanent residents are able to join the library by completing a membership form, showing identification and paying a $25.00 refundable joining fee.
