Construction of new SES Depot, Bunya
Council has awarded a $2 million tender to construct a new SES Depot in James Drysdale Reserve, Bunya. This major project will include:
- Administration and training building with adjoining shed;
- Separate nine-bay vehicle storage; and
- External training hardstand.
The project is designed to provide a purpose-built facility to accommodate growth in Arana Hills SES activities and better support local volunteers.
Works commenced mid-2018, and are expected to be complete mid-2019, weather permitting. During this time the upper carpark on Linedrive Terrace will not be available for public use between 6.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
