“Our ocean has been the guardian of life on earth. Now it is our turn to be guardians for the ocean. The very nature of the sea is being irretrievably altered. BLUE is a provocative journey into the ocean realm, witnessing this critical moment in time when the marine world is on a precipice.”
Residents are invited to a Plastic Free July event in the Moreton Bay Region facilitated by Tim Silverwood. A growing movement of people are becoming aware that our convenient, plastic-reliant lifestyle needs to change. Tim will discuss the impact of unsustainable pollution on our ocean and marine life, and the initiatives used to address these challenges. Following the film ‘Blue’, a Question and Answer workshop will be available for participants with Tim, and Council and Unitywater delegates.
Online bookings are essential. Maximum of 250 seats available.
Car parking is available onsite.
