Pine Rivers Art GalleryExhibition: Reminiscence - Celebrating 100 Years of Australian Visionary Judith Wright

Also in this section...

Reminiscence reflects on Judith Wright’s inspirational life in this centenary year of her birth by bringing together a new body of work by mixed-media artist, Fiona Rafferty, and ceramicist, Frances Smith.

After a year in their respective studios, with abundant inspiration from time spent at Wright’s former home on Mount Tambourine, the resulting work is focused on themes of great importance to Wright - her poetry, Australia’s First Peoples, and the environment.

For information about the free workshop with this exhibition see The poetry of Drawing.

Reminiscence is supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland’s Playing Queensland Fund.
