Teen School Holiday Workshops

Stay tuned to discover all the activities for teens at libraries during the Summer school holidays. Registration opens 1pm Thursday, 6 December. Places limited. Registration required for most events.


Manaakitanga - Sharing Māori Culture

Be welcomed and experience Māori hospitality. Find out more about stories, language, play, visual and performing arts, and participate in songs, games and dances including titi torea, haka and poi. Suitable for families. Free.

We keep the library open at night for teens to hang out with friends, play PC and console games, listen to music, and enjoy pizza and drinks. For Grades 7-12.

Young Writers Group

Meet up with other aspiring young writers to discuss ideas, share your writing and learn from one another. Ideal for Grades 10-12.
