Wi-Fi

From September 2017, Moreton Bay Regional Council is rolling out a free Wi-Fi service at each of its 10 branch locations. Customers will be able to use their own devices to connect to the Libraries Wi-Fi service to access the library catalogue, eLibrary, online databases, and Council online services or for general personal internet use.

Using a computer at the library

All our libraries have computers available for public use. These computers have Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2016, and can access the internet.

Bookings for library computers

Computer bookings can be made in person or by phoning any of our libraries. You will need to provide your library card number or name and phone number. On busy days it may be necessary to wait.

Each library has at least one Express computer, which non-library members may use for a maximum of one free 15 minute internet session per day. Express computers may not be booked in advance.

To protect your privacy when your session ends, all data is wiped. You may save data to your own device; USB memory drives are available to purchase at the library. BYO headphones to use or purchase a disposable pair.

Colour and black and white printing and copying are available at all of our libraries.
