The Festival of Play showcases the importance of children’s early literacy and language development through play, starting with the Festival of Play Forum and continuing with the development and design of a touring Pop-Up Play Space (PUPS).
Festival of Play: Forum 2020
North Lakes Community Centre - Friday 14 February 2020
This free forum provided the opportunity to explore the importance of play in children’s early development from leaders in the field including international keynote speaker and educator, Nathan Wallis. Nathan explored how the brain works, how it develops, and how neuroscience can better inform our interactions with children.
