Who is eligible to participate in the Adventure program?

The Adventure program is available to Moreton Bay Region residents and rate payers. Activities have individual age requirements which are listed in the program timetable.

Do I need to make a booking?

Yes, all Adventure activities require a booking unless otherwise stated. Bookings can be made online via the Adventure webpage or by phoning council on (07) 5433 2052.

How many activities can I book?

Participants can book into as many activities as they like for up to six people. Please choose carefully and DO NOT OVERCOMMIT yourself. Remember that you must pay up front for all activity bookings and no refunds will be granted once payment has been made.

Can I make a booking if I don't have an email address?

Yes, if you don't have an email address you will need to make a booking over the phone (07) 5433 2052 or visit a Council Customer Service Centre at Caboolture, Redcliffe or Strathpine. A confirmation will be mailed to you, or printed at the Customer Service Centre.

Can I make a booking if I don't have a credit/debit card?

Yes, to make a booking without a credit/debit card you will need to visit a Council Customer Service Centre at Caboolture, Redcliffe and Strathpine. Cash, EFTPOS and credit are all accepted.

What do I do if I don't have a printer to print my confirmation email/ticket?

Contact (07) 5433 2052 to have your ticket and information printed and mailed to you.

Do I need to bring my confirmation ticket?

Yes, please bring your confirmation ticket with you to the activity.

What is the waiting list?

If an activity is fully booked participants have the option to be added to the waiting list. Waiting list participants will be contacted in the event places within their chosen activity/s become available. There is no set time when waiting list participants will be contact prior to an activity. To be added to the waiting list complete the online form.

Can I cancel my bookings and do I get a refund?

Please choose carefully. No refunds are permitted once payment has been made. Council accepts no liability for a person's failure to attend an event for any reason.

Can I transfer my booking in an activity to someone else if I can no longer attend?

Yes, activity tickets can be transferred to another person to attend.

What do I need to bring?

For all outdoor activities please wear a hat, sunscreen, enclosed footwear, and bring a water bottle. All other requirements are listed in the online activity timetable under 'more information'.

I’m booking activities for my children, am I required to stay for the duration of the activity?

Yes, parents and carers must stay for the duration of an activity if children under 18 years are participating. Providers have the right to refuse participation for any unsupervised children.
