Community Grants Program
The Community Grants Program enables the Council to recognise leadership and individual achievement, and to develop and actively support community organisations and individuals to positively contribute to community wellbeing and the cultural life of the region.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to read the Moreton Bay Regional Council’s Community Grants Program Guidelines to determine their eligibility and for further information about each funding opportunity.
Community Grants Workshops will be held throughout the region to promote the opening of the new grant round and to provide information to prospective applicants.
The Community Events Fund supports the development of new, innovative and sustainable community based events that strengthen communities and celebrate the region’s vibrant lifestyle.
The Community Projects Fund supports the development and implementation of programs and initiatives that preserve and maintain the environment and / or build a safe, inclusive and connected region.
The Facility Development Fund supports the planning and development of new, and improvement to existing community facilities throughout the Moreton Bay region.
The Organisation Development Fund supports the development of strong and well-resourced community organisations through the provision of funding for small equipment purchases and governance and business planning activities.
The Road Safety Grant offers funding to undertake community projects and initiatives that work to address road safety issues within the Moreton Bay region.
