Community Grants Program
Council recognises that community organisations make an
important contribution to enhancing the region's vibrant lifestyle,
and to creating strong and inclusive communities. Council is
committed to supporting community organisations through its
Community Grants Program.
Council provides grants to community organisations to support
the sustainable delivery of community, cultural, sporting and
environmental activities to residents in the Moreton Bay region.
Council also provides grants to recognise individuals who have
achieved outstanding results in their chosen field and have
qualified, or been selected by a peak body, to represent Queensland
Individuals and community organisations can also receive grants
through the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF). This fund
provides funding for projects that promote and develop arts,
culture and heritage in the Moreton Bay region. The Regional Arts
Development Fund (RADF) is delivered as a partnership between the
Council and the Queensland Government though Arts Queensland.

- Individual Achievement Grant
- Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF)
Applicants are strongly encouraged to read the Moreton Bay Regional Council’s Community Grants Program Guidelines to determine their eligibility and for further information about each funding opportunity.
Community Grants Workshops will be held throughout the region to promote the opening of the new grant round and to provide information to prospective applicants.
The Community Projects Fund supports the development and implementation of programs and initiatives that preserve and maintain the environment and / or build a safe, inclusive and connected region.
The Facility Development Fund supports the planning and development of new, and improvement to existing community facilities throughout the Moreton Bay region.
The Organisation Development Fund supports the development of strong and well-resourced community organisations through the provision of funding for small equipment purchases and governance and business planning activities.
The Community Events Fund supports the development of new, innovative and sustainable community based events that strengthen communities and celebrate the region’s vibrant lifestyle.
The Individual Achievement Fund celebrates the leadership and achievement of Moreton Bay residents.
The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is a partnership between the Moreton Bay Regional Council and the State Government through Arts Queensland, providing support for arts, culture and heritage development.
