Investment opportunities

Moreton Bay region is committed to business success.

As such it has a range of business and investment opportunities, from commercial to tourism and industrial to retail. Being located so close to Brisbane the region offers excellent infrastructure and communication links without the city prices and congestion.

A number of industry sectors have been identified as playing a key role in the future of the region.

Industrial precincts

Suitable for a range of industrial and distribution centres the region offers competitive industrial land both large and small.

The Brendale Industrial Estate is fast becoming the region’s prime industrial area and is attracting major manufacturing and distribution facilities to the region.

The Narangba Industrial Estate, located just off the Bruce Highway, caters for general industry and manufacturing. The estate boasts modern infrastructure and is ideally suited for major manufacturing and a range of general industries.

Corporate Park is a thriving light industry and commercial development situated near Caboolture Airfield, just five minutes from the centre of Caboolture. Some sites offer Bruce Highway frontage, access to Caboolture airfield or Bribie Island Road. Ideal for operators in the commercial, light and general industry areas.

Sites range from 2000m² to 3000m² with some larger sites up to 9000m².

NewBase Enterprise Park is an 85 ha master planned estate comprising 102 lots from 2,000sqm to 10 ha.  It will suit small businesses as well as major manufacturing and distribution operations.

Located within the Brendale area it provides state of the art facilities in a traditional industrial area.

Business parks

New business parks are being developed in the region including the highly successful North Lakes Mixed Industry Business Area (MIBA), whose first phase is already sold out.

The park’s numerous precincts will suit small-scale manufacturing, warehousing, light industrial, high-tech and commercial office and wholesale showroom space.

Other sites include Motorway Business Park and Riverside Business Park.

Co-working space

Co-working is a style of work that involves a shared working environment, often an office, and independent activity. Unlike in a typical office environment, those co-working are usually not employed by the same organisation.

Health services

The Redcliffe/North Lakes corridor is becoming the health hub of the region.  The location of the proposed GP super clinic in Redcliffe and a new private hospital at North Lakes will add to the already thriving hospitals and medical services in the area.

There is an opportunity for specialist and other medical service providers to co-locate to this area.

Tourism

Moreton Bay region is ripe for a range of tourism attractions.  From water based activities along the coast to rural experiences in the west the region offers exceptional opportunities to tap into the tourist market and day visitors that are drawn to the region for its many natural, rural, coastal and historic charms.
