Community Network Meetings

Council facilitates and supports a number of key community networking opportunities attended by government agencies and community service providers.

What is the purpose of the network meetings?

These networks play an integral role in the sharing of information between Council, government agencies and community service providers and is a great opportunity to collaborate and work together to achieve a connected Moreton Bay Region.

Attendees update the network on current projects, events or new information that is of benefit to clients or other providers.

Deception Bay Child & Family Alliance

Moreton Bay Local Level Alliance (LLA), Family and Child Connect
The Local Level Alliance will enable the establishment or strengthening of connections between local services and the Moreton Bay communities to better support the needs of vulnerable families.

Moreton Children’s Partnership
A regional network meeting that provides advocacy, awareness raising and community engagement to improve outcomes for children in Moreton Bay.

Moreton Bay Housing & Homelessness Network
The Housing and Homelessness network is a region network group of community services, housing providers and government who work to support individual at risk of or experiencing homelessness in Moreton Bay.

Peer Participation in Mental Health Services Network Meeting
Is open to people with a lived experience with Mental Health who want to actively participate in the shaping of mental health services in the region (note it is not a therapeutic support group).
