Join in a morning of free family fun at Murrumba Downs on Wednesday, May 23 when Moreton Bay Regional Council’s popular Teddy Bears’ Picnic heads to John Oxley Reserve.
Division 7 Councillor Denise Sims said it would be a bear-y special event and encouraged families to join in the three hours of free stage entertainment together with free activities including an animal farm, rides and face painting all kicking off at 9am.
The kids will be singing and dancing along to drum workshops, fairy-tale performances and rhyme time,” Cr Sims said.
“In addition to all the stage fun, more than 30 stalls will be on deck with plenty free activities and helpful resources from local childcare providers, community groups and businesses.
“Pack your favourite teddy, a picnic rug and blanket for a morning filled with more fun than you can possibly ‘bear’.”
The Murrumba Downs Teddy Bears’ Picnic in the Park is proudly presented by Moreton Bay Regional Council and supported by Cr Denise Sims.
The event will run from 9am to 12pm on May 23 at John Oxley Reserve, Ogg Road, Murrumba Downs.
