Join everyone’s favourite Minions on their quest to find a new master plus some of the region’s most talented young musicians when Moreton Bay Regional Council plays host to a starlight Movie in the Park on Saturday, October 14 at the Deception Bay Sports Centre.

Moreton Bay Regional Council Division 2 Councillor Peter Flannery said the event would be a great night out for the whole family to enjoy with a screening of Minions and plenty of pre-movie entertainment.

“It all kicks off from 5.00pm, with loads of live music from Liam Cougan as well as the Moreton Youth Music Ensemble,” Cr Flannery said.

“There will also be a jelly eating competition for the kids, a giant inflatable obstacle course as well as a special after-dark LED light show.

“It’s a great way to spend a night out with the family and even better - it’s free.

“The Deception Bay Lions Club will be running a fundraising sausage sizzle on the day and all proceeds from the sale of food on the night will go towards supporting local community organisations.

“This is not only a great night out for the family, but a great night out for residents to come together to give something back to the community.”

The special starlight movie screening of the Minions [PG] will begin at 6.45pm on Saturday 14 October.

Deception Bay Movie in the Park, is a free event, proudly presented by Moreton Bay Regional Council.
