The new expedited application service for plan endorsement was launched July 2016 along with the pilot for low risk operational works permits. The Third Party Certification initiative is a simple and fast way to have low risk development applications approved by Council.
Council accreditation of suitably qualified consultants and consultancies is a process of being certified as meeting minimum requirements, and thus allows for a streamlined process. Council relies on the accredited consultant's certification, and will release endorsed survey plans and development permits for operational works within five (5) business days.
Benefits of being accredited
As an accredited consultant, you are able to offer your clients a quicker and more efficient option for low-risk development proposals. This may be of benefit to your business.
