Bribie Island Community Kindergarten
Our play house a space to dream, pretend, imagine made with love using recycled items from our families and community including creative artwork by children.
Bribie Island State School
A discarded CombustaBrik machine made LOTS of firebricks which were sold. Money raised was used on garden. Students LOVE the tactile feeling of mushing paper.
Common Unity Nurture
Upcycled media: Coffee Pods & packaging, broken sunglasses, disposable plastic table cloth, Styrofoam, paper & old paint.
Coffee grounds used as garden compost.
Creative Kids OSHC Centre
Scarecrow was made to protect our garden, it was created so that all materials can be recycled and reused again and not put into landfill.
Florence Kindergarten Margate
Hubcap Garden Art- 44 hubcaps found at the car wreckers were created into beautiful pieces of individual garden art by each family from the Kindergarten.
Grace Lutheran College Caboolture
This chandelier is painstakingly made from stacking and gluing waste playing cards. It’s ‘house of cards’ arrangement conveys a meaning of strength in numbers.
Kids Capers Wamuran
Using a bike rim, tins, timber we created wind chimes after a discussion with 4- 5 years. We painted, drilled, threaded and tied to create.
Mueller College Early Learning Centre
Greenhouse - Materials: discarded palettes; broken gazebo; drink bottles; milk bottles for watering; bricks; timber off cuts; old shade cloth; soil from old pots
North Lakes State College
Medieval Japanese castles, Birdhouse, Snowman, TisShoe and Flower. Made using unwanted: cardboard, paper, plastic cups, felt scraps, tissue boxes, egg cartons and other decorative items.
Peace of Mind Kindergarten
The children love playing in the car made from all recycled materials. The chair inside is made from pallets, and 2nd hand cushions.
Petrie Kids Korner
Recycled Frog. We used old tyres, broken buckets, old piping, plates, bottle lids, hey and plant cuttings to put together our frog creation.
