Permits are required for 4WD vehicles to travel on the ocean beach of Bribie Island. All permits are issued by the Queensland Parks & Wildlife Service, phone 13 13 04. Dogs are not permitted north of the 4WD access track.
Volunteer Marine Rescue, Bribie Island is on emergency call 24 hours a day seven days a week operating out of its base station in Bellara.
