Window exhibition: Ana Maria Duque 'All about a Dress'

During the 1940’s and 50’s in Mexico City people imported dresses from Europe because they seemed more sophisticated and elegant. The Mexican revolutionary painter Frida Kahlo rebelled against this practice by including the traditional and indigenous Tehuana dresses in her wardrobe.
