Exhibition: Shared Visions - Memory and identity in the photography of Jenny Carter-White

Family photo albums are treasured possessions that hold lifetimes of memories within, capturing experiences and relationships and creating lasting mementos. Brisbane-based artist Jenny Carter-White draws on her family photographs to explore the relationships between autobiographical memory and identity.

Hub Exhibition: Anne-Louise Ciel

This series on gestural communication uses large scale hands to open up concerns with the environment and social attitudes. Anne-Louise’s environmental work features five hands moving in a stop action style gesture across a large quintyph plus smaller complementary works.

Hub Exhibition: Rachel Arthur, Gabe Parker, Natalie Matthysz Hamblin

Concentric circles are a complex universal symbol of unity and infinity and represent processes, wholeness, place, time, light, layers of meaning and creation. ancient future features a series of oil paintings by Rachel Arthur, wire sculptures by Gabe Parker and ceramic bowls by Natalie Matthysz Hamblin.

Fierce on the outside, and soft underneath, Scarface Claw takes centre stage in his very own exhibition.

Zoonoses

Artist Nicola Hooper explores the darker side of the natural world in Zoonoses. Drawing from a range of historical and popular literary references, Hooper investigates zoonotic diseases - illnesses carried by animals that can be transferred to humans.
