Moreton Bay Region's nbn™ rollout

The Moreton Bay Regional Council has partnered with nbn™ to bring you this information page on what the nbn™ network means for you, and how to get connected if your area has been activated.  

Since the last update, new nbn™ services continue to be enabled around the Moreton Bay Region. Most recently another 31,333 premises went live across Narangba and Warner using NBN Fixed line services. Additionally, fixed wireless towers went live in Neurum and Dayboro.

Over the next six months or so, we will see another 49,724 fixed services go live in Kallangur, Petrie, Redcliffe, Albany Creek and Rothwell along with new fixed wireless towers in Wamuran North, Ocean View, Moorina and Elimbah.  

When will I get nbn™? 

nbn's "Check your address" web function now provides predicted date ranges of when your address will be able to order an nbn™ service - regardless of whether the area has started construction or not. Enter your address at the bottom of this page to find out when you get nbn™.

The nbn™ network is for your phone too

The nbn™ network is replacing most existing landline phone and internet networks in your area, which will be switched off. Your existing services won't automatically move to the nbn™ network, you'll need to move them through a phone or internet provider before your disconnection date.

What do I need to do now?

When your home or business is ready to be connected to the nbn™ network, you should receive your nbn™ connect kit. You can also visit nbn’s website right now.
