Cross Cultural Training for the Community

Moreton Bay Regional Council presents another Cross Cultural Training in its workshop series for the community following the sell-out trainings held in 2017. This time the training is on “Culturally Appropriate Service Delivery and Engagement”.

Join us for unparalleled discovery, networking, and inspiration at our new co-design workshop for community service professionals. Facilitated by Alphacrane Intercultural Specialists, the workshop format is unlike any other seminar you’ve attended.

As an active participant, you’ll be invited to share your knowledge and ideas with other community service professionals and collaborate in a series of co-design exercises. By the end of the intensive half-day program, you will have identified cross-cultural challenges specific to your local community and co-design a series of “how-to” cultural reference guides. Not only can you bring this back to your own organisation, you will also have contributed to a valuable collection of resources to be shared across Council’s network of community service providers. It’s the gift that keeps on giving!

This capacity-building initiative of Moreton Bay Regional Council will empower community service partners with a suit of best-practice cross-cultural skills. Council is committed to providing services and initiatives for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

The Cross Cultural Training is now fully booked. If you would like to join the waiting list please email council’s Community and Cultural Programs Team on
