Work is now complete on the $290,000 transformation of Caboolture's 'Green Link', providing a new public recreation and entertainment space in the CBD.
The Green Link has been created by levelling and turfing the area that had been used as a construction compound between James Street and Armstrong Way during the $2 million Matthew Terrace streetscaping project.
The new open space boasts two concrete pathways, drainage improvements, sandstone seating features and light conduits for future safety and event installations. Landscaping on the project has included the planting of established three-to-four metre high trees, so shade will hopefully grow quickly.
The Green Link project is an exciting new step towards a more vibrant Caboolture.
