Work is underway on the $290,000 transformation of
Caboolture's 'Green Link' to create a new public recreation and
entertainment space in the CBD.
The Green Link will be created by levelling and turfing the
area currently being used as a construction compound between James
Street and Armstrong Way.
It will become a new open space with two concrete pathways,
drainage improvements, sandstone seating features and light
conduits for future safety and event installations. Landscaping on
the project will incorporate the planting of established
three-to-four metre high trees, so shade will quickly grow for
after the project's completion.
The Green Link project is an exciting new step towards a more
vibrant Caboolture and is expected to be completed by the end of
March, weather permitting.
