Many household and commercial items are manufactured using different types of metal. Recycle these metal items at your local Council Waste facility metal area to save these resources so they can be manufactured into new metal items, saving natural resources, energy, water and the environment.
Limited metal items can be disposed of in your general waste wheelie bin. No bulky or heavy items - the bin must and close weigh less than 40kg to be lifted by the collection truck.
Sell or donate useful household metal items in good condition to a charity or Council's Treasure Markets.
