Stay home, stay safe and help local businesses

Although waste facilities remain open to the public, Council is urging all residents to avoid or reduce visits.

Social distancing and safety requirements at Council waste facilities may result in delays. Limits on the number of people accessing a site may apply, including:

  • Redcliffe Transfer Station push pit disposal area restricted to no more than 10 people per side of the facility.
  • Caboolture and Dakabin treasure markets restricted to no more than 10 people at any one time with a limit of 20 minutes shopping for each lot of 10 customers and a 10 item purchase limit.

You can help keep yourself and your community safe, and support local impacted businesses that rely on access, by:

  • postponing any trips until you have a full load
  • planning and staggering household clean-ups, so you make the most of your kerbside collection service every single week
  • ensuring you reuse, recycle or repurpose your waste materials.

Kerbside collection services continue as normal. Ensure your bins are placed at the kerb the night before your collection day.

We’re all in this together as a community.

Council appreciates your understanding and cooperation as we continue to respond to the impacts of COVID-19.
