Sheepstation Creek Park

Located in the heart of Morayfield, Sheepstation Creek Park boasts one of the largest skate parks in the Moreton Bay region. The park is less than 200m from the Morayfield train station, and within walking distance to the Morayfield Shopping Centre.

Skate park upgrade

Council is refurbishing the skate park as part of the Skate Park Upgrades Program. The skate park has been demolished and is being re-built with new designs that have been created with input from the community. 

Unfortunately, soon after work started to upgrade this skate park, workers uncovered an unknown 1960s water main not shown on Unitywater, Council or Dial-before-you-dig data. It was also not identified during site investigations.

Council is exploring options with Unitywater to expedite works to relocate the pipe and recommence work on the skate park upgrade. While the project is expected to be delayed by five to six months, we know it will be a fantastic space for skaters and riders when finished. It should be completed in time for next summer.
