The Donnybrook Community Hall is located in the heart of the small peaceful town of Donnybrook, on the edge of the Pumicestone Passage.

The hall is 13 metres x 10 metres and is a self-service model. However, hall management offers set up/pack down, cleaning and catering services for an additional cost. To request a quote, please contact Enhance Care.

The hall has a capacity of 100 people.

Accessibility

Donnybrook Community Hall has continuous ramp access from the main car park, which includes 2 allocated disability access parking bays. 

A portico provides sheltered drop off at the front door. The internal facilities include an accessible toilet. 

Please inspect the venue prior to booking to ensure the facility meets your accessibility requirements.

Bookings

This hall is managed by Enhance Care Inc on behalf of Council. 

Regular hire is available at this facility. A regular hirer is an individual or organisation that has bookings on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis. Note:

  • booking requests are required at least five business days prior to the requested hire date
  • a minimum of 1 hour hire applies to all bookings
  • Council may charge a refundable security bond to cover potential damage to the facility during hire.

All hirers are required to complete an online venue induction prior to their booking. Inductions are current for 12 months. Complete online venue site induction.

  • 50% discount for non-profit/incorporated associations
  • Council may charge a refundable security bond.

Restrictions

  • Hirers are not permitted to sleep in the venue overnight, however, equipment may be left in the venue if the hirer has a booking for the following day by arrangement with Hall Management
  • Smoking is prohibited in, and within 5 metres of Council venues, except for designated smoking areas 
  • The use of open flames including but not limited to candles, lanterns or smoke machines is prohibited
  • Decorative items such as glitter, rice, sand or confetti is not permitted
  • Decorations must not be affixed in any way that may cause damage; this includes, but is not limited to sticky tape, pins or tacks
  • Animals, with the exception of assistance animals, are not permitted in council venues without prior approval.

Venue inspections

Hall Management may provide prospective hirers the opportunity to view the hall prior to booking. Inspections are by appointment only and depend upon the hall manager and venue availability.
