Community halls COVID-19 closure
Council’s priority is protecting the health and well-being of the community and staff as much as possible, with this in mind, Moreton Bay Regional Council wishes to advise that all community halls will close from COB Wednesday 25 March 2020 until further notice, with the overall goal of helping to slow the spread of the virus and reduce peak demand on health facilities.
At this stage, Council’s Immunisation Program conducted from community halls will continue. View the 2020 Immunisation calendar(PDF, 160KB) for upcoming clinics.
The local government elections conducted at various community halls around the region will continue.
Council will be contacting customers for bookings in the immediate future, however if hirers are concerned or are wanting to follow-up on their booking, they should contact Council.
Moreton Bay Regional Council is working closely with Queensland Health and the Australian Government and will continue to be guided by these agencies on all matters of public health. Council will continue to monitor emerging information and provide further updates as required.
