Albany Creek library meeting room

The Albany Creek Library offers an air conditioned meeting room which can be booked seven days a week; 8:00 AM until 10:00 PM.

Ample free parking for meeting attendees is available beside Greenview Park, Ferguson Street.

The library is within easy walking distance of coffee shops, bakeries, grocery stores and food outlets.

After hours bookings

An access pack will be issued on payment which must be collected during library opening hours.

Seats up to 15 people.

Albany Creek Library is accessible by wheelchair.

Please inspect the venue prior to booking to ensure the facility meets your accessibility requirements.

Bookings

  • Payment must be made at the time of the booking.
  • Bookings times include setting up and tidying up after meetings, and the room must be vacated within the session times allocated.
  • Repeat bookings can be made for six months only and will be reviewed after that time.
  • Tentative bookings will be held for one week. 
  • Cancellations need to be made at least one week in advance. Note: Council's standard business practice is not to off refunds within seven days of the booking.
  • Repeated failure to notify of cancellation may result in refusal to accept future bookings.

Room inclusions:

  • two fold-down tables on wheels (150 cm x 80 cm)
  • one laptop utility trolley (three shelves - 61 cm x 45 cm)
  • 15 chairs
  • overhead data projector (laptop not supplied)
  • projection screen
  • whiteboard (whiteboard markers not supplied)
  • Wi-Fi

Kitchen facilities:

  • microwave oven
  • bar fridge
  • electric jug
  • dishwasher
  • limited crockery and cutlery (must be washed, dried and put away by hirer).

Note: No dishwashing liquid, washcloths or tea towels are provided.

  • groups who can prove their not for profit status
  • non-commercial groups or individuals who do not charge membership or attendance fees (apart from covering meeting room costs) and are not conducting a business or selling or promoting products or services

Restrictions
