Dog Off Leash Areas (DOLAs) are a popular recreational facility in the Moreton Bay region. They provide an area where dogs can safely play, exercise and socialise with other dogs.

The Dog Off Leash Area Planning and Design Guidelines provide practical advice on the design and location of future DOLAs within the City of Moreton Bay local government area. The guidelines will assist Council and developers to design and construct DOLAs that are safe for both people and animals, while protecting the amenity of the area.
