HAY: The unique numbering system used for Black Duck Lake refers to its watershed catchment - Hays Inlet. The Black Duck Lake system discharges into Freshwater Creek which in turn discharges into Hays Inlet.

  • Excavate section of rock pool area and retain dedicated open water channel and improve flushing -complete
  • Infill planting to shallow water margins with wetland plants  - late October
  • Revegetation - starting late October
  • Establishment (irrigate plants) - ongoing
  • Reinstate water level - November
