With the easing of the South East Queensland lockdown, Council venues have reopened subject to State Government COVID restrictions.

Persons who wish to deposit goods or materials on Council land are required to hold an approval under Local Law No. 1 (Administration) 2011. This may be permitted on a temporary basis only, such as during construction of a building on adjacent private land.
Examples of goods or materials which may be approved are:
Customers requesting to store goods or materials on Council land should lodge a Temporary storage or depositing of goods/materials on Council controlled land application(PDF, 348KB) and pay the relevant fee.
Applicants are required to demonstrate the storage will not create a safety risk and must submit evidence of $20 million public liability insurance.
Applications are required to be received at least 30 business days prior to the requested placement of goods, to allow Council sufficient time to process the application.
