Environmental education program for schools

Waterbugs event for kids

Looking for an exciting excursion opportunity for your school? Connect your students to nature and discover the region’s unique environments at one of City of Moreton Bay's three Environmental Education Centres.

Our environment centres are located in Burpengary, Griffin, and Eatons Hill and provide environmental education for students of all ages.

We offer a range of facilitated programs focusing on fauna, flora, sustainability and more. View the Teachers' guide(PDF, 1MB) for all available modules or contact us to discuss a customised program or site visit to suit your needs.

Contact Environmental Services for further information.

Bookings for excursions and group tours

If you would like a guided tour of one of our environment centres, submit an excursion or group tour request.

Group tours are available from Tuesday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Availability is limited and bookings are required.

You are not required to fill out the form if you are doing a self-guided tour from Saturday to Monday.

Guided tours are free, and Council can source external facilitators for a fee.
