Nestled upriver on the banks of the South Pine River, Kumbartcho Sanctuary is a 6-hectare site allowing visitors to explore and appreciate rainforest ecosystems.
The grounds are not bookable spaces.
Dogs are not allowed on site (service dogs excepted).

The centre has a range of things to see and do including craft activities, a four foot long fish tank and nocturnal display. Entry is free.
The community nursery grows local native plants for community projects and for planting in reserves, parks, schools and public open spaces. It is open to the public.
