Situated on an 18-hectare reserve, the Caboolture Region Environmental Education Centre and surrounding grounds supports environmental education and recreation for the community. Backing onto the Burpengary River, CREEC offers nature walk trails, an all abilities playground, barbeques and café.
Use the walking track map(PDF, 735KB) and take a self-guided walk through endangered rainforest and acacia woodland habitats.
The CREEC grounds are not bookable spaces.
Dogs are not allowed on site (service dogs excepted).
With activities for all ages, the CREEC auditorium provides interactive and educational displays focused on sustainability, environmental awareness as well as local fauna and flora. The centre is free to enter and you can check out our nocturnal room and native stingless bee hive.
The onsite café is operated by Morayfield & District Lions Club and opens Wednesday, through to Sunday, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (subject to change).
