Join online
It’s easy to join. Adults (over 18) can simply bring current identification to any of our libraries or you can join online. Online Members can access most services provided by Moreton Bay Region Libraries. To borrow physical items visit us, we’ll verify your ID and issue a physical library card.
Under 18
Children and young people under 18 can join the library. When joining they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must also be a library member and provide identification.
Visitors/Non-permanent residents
Visitors temporarily residing in the Moreton Bay region can join the library by providing identification including proof of permanent residential address and proof of temporary place of residence.
Organisations
Organisations such as schools and nursing homes located in the Moreton Bay region can also join. The membership application will need to be signed by a person with appropriate authority who is taking responsibility for the membership.
Identification requirements
Documents of identification need to include your name and current residential address. Photo ID such as a driver’s licence is preferable, but a Centrelink Concession Card, recent rates notice, utilities bill, bank statement or similar can be used instead; digital identification is also acceptable.
