Bribie young people’s photography competition

Showcasing some of the amazing photographic talent and artistic eye Bribie Island has to offer, Bribie young people’s photography competition saw many entries from those ages 10 - 24.

Open to individuals who attend school or live on the island, we received many wonderful entries capturing favourite locations, much loved companions, and natural wonders at their finest.

After much deliberation, finalists within each age category have been reached and are detailed below.

Winners from each category will be announced during Youth Week 2022 and presented professionally printed copies of their award-winning images.

Imogen Gordon, Boats By Bridge

"This photo "Boats by Bridge" not only captures the only way to get on and off Bribie island via the iconic Bribie bridge it also represents memories that I have from many waterfront walks with my family. I took this photograph on my 12th birthday, after receiving the camera I had asked for as my birthday gift. Taking photographs is one of my favourite past times, the photo of the hire boats located just over the Bribie bridge captures just a few of the past times offered on Bribe Island, from fishing in the Pumicestone Passage to relaxing by the water’s edge."
