Galleries and museums will be closed on Thursday 25 April for the Anzac Day public holiday and will reopen on Friday 26 April from 10:00 AM.
The showgrounds have been tidied, the entries are in and the excitement is building. The annual local show is about to begin. Agricultural shows are one of the most iconic of Australian traditions, loved by generations.
In the Moreton Bay Region there are six shows - each with their own unique stories. From humble beginnings, they have become multi-day extravaganzas, offering exhibitors and visitors a combination of serious competition and light-hearted fun.
2019 is a big year for the Redcliffe Show celebrating its 70th show. In recognition of this, Showtime! features a series of photos capturing the essence of the show, taken at the 2018 show by photographer Russell Shakespeare.
