Join Lindsay Watts at Redcliffe Museum as she builds her exquisitely-detailed watercolour paintings using a dry brush technique.
A graduate of the Margaret Saul School of Botanical Art, she regularly exhibits with the Botanical Artists' Society Queensland and at 'Botanica', Sydney. She was a finalist in the ‘Margaret Flockton Award’, Sydney in 2009 and the ‘Waterhouse Art Prize’, South Australian Museum, 2006.
Redcliffe Museum has implemented Covid-19 safe measures to ensure the safety of artists, facilitators and patrons.
An initiative of the Botanical Artists’ Society of Queensland in partnership with Museums & Galleries Queensland, and supported by Moreton Bay Regional Council. Botanical Artists’ Society of Queensland has received financial assistance from the Queensland Government through the Visual Arts and Craft Strategy, an initiative of the Australian, state and territory governments.
