Anger, love, courage and strength - the colour red is embedded with meaning. It holds a universal power, commanding attention from people of all cultures and ages. Red colour has been highly-coveted throughout history, utilised by artists to represent power, divinity, passion and revolution. Local quilting collective, Henzell St Quilters, have embraced the power of red through a series of quilts and other objects, demonstrating the talents of the quilters through a range of techniques unified by the power of red.
